Real rejection is a trial that only depending on God can get us through. If we strive to view rejection as help from God to keep our hearts pliant and dependent on Him, we grow and gain freedom. In addition, we stretch in our ability to relate to people with love. Bottom line? People, simply, are not dependable. But we can love anyway because rejection draws us closer to Him…if we let it. We can thus begin to overcome the pain of rejection. Rejection is a

When rejection comes your way, remember to cling to His profound love for you. Regardless of how others treat you, you can love them, because He really does love you. Rejection is a trial, but He loves us!
Rejection is needed to keep our hearts humble.
When we no longer choose to hold our offenders responsible for their sins against us, we break the power unforgiveness is holding over us. We are free to love those who sin against us. Are you wise to maintain your distance? Yes, I believe so. But let’s not be concerned about running into them. Love them. Forgive them. For more help on forgiveness read “Biblical Forgiveness? What they don’t tell you.”
“We must give ourselves the time we need to master the principles of overcoming rejection.” Bob Sorge, Dealing with the Rejection and Praise of Men. It will be a lifelong process. Rejection is a trial, no doubt, but it is also a journey we can grow in.
Coming soon – a book review on Sorge’s book Dealing with the Rejection and Praise of Men – but briefly, this is a deeply profound and amazing book. Many of my thoughts and concepts in this post originated with Sorge.
Choose to not allow rejection to lead you into bitterness or a lack of faith, but let it bring you closer to the One who created you. Rejection can be the best blessing you ever received. It is proving so for me.
John 3:16 For God So Loved…
..that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever should believeth in Him should have life..
Let His love renew, revive, saturate, strengthen, sustain, lift and empower you. His love is the greatest power in the universe. Moreover, while rejection is a trial, it also is a place where we draw closer to our God.

Why is suffering from rejection such a common state for us? Because, as a people, we look to one another for our acceptance. However, we often, don’t get it. If I desire your acceptance, then you have the power to reject me.
You must decide that from now on you will only look for acceptance from the One Who Created you. For in Him, you are complete. Col. 2:10 Once we no longer are looking for acceptance of man, the trial of rejection has less sting.
Would it not serve us here on Earth to only long for the praise of God/Yah stating “well done, my good and faithful servant.” Matt.25:23
Seeking His will and good should be all-consuming. We must refrain from being people pleasers. You won’t be healed from rejection by obsessing about the source of your rejection. But only by looking to the source of your acceptance.
Until you know, on the inside, the deep love of your Maker, you will always be susceptible to rejection’s woundings.
Let the Ruach ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) place this deep within your consciousness:
you are absolutely and irrevocably loved and enjoyed by Your Creator!
